Dawn has had an interest in both nature and photography for many years, but has only combined the two interests in the last dozen years or so. She gained her Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) in nature with a panel of Mediterranean wild flowers. In May 2006 Dawn was awarded a Fellowship of the RPS with a panel of prints entitled 'Birds of the Falklands Archipelago'.
She has visited The Falklands on numerous occasions and admits it is her most favourite place. Florida, Canada, Spain and Greece (in particular the island of Crete) are also destinations she enjoys visiting in pursuit of images. Dawn is an active participant in both the Nature Group of the RPS and her local camera club. She also enjoys submitting her work to exhibitions and admits that seeing her name in the catalogues still puts a smile on her face.
